Here’s what George wouldn’t want you to know about him. When he was 16 years old, he was in a near death car accident because he chose to get into a car with a drunk driver. In school he was teased, bullied and when he was 11 years old he was sexually manipulated by a friend. He lost a best friend to a drug overdose at age 21. He’s had his heart broken so bad it caused him to spiral into a full-blown identity crisis. He’s been through depression, twice. He suffered from deep insecurity for the first 30 years of his life. He was a three-time #1 Sales Executive for a billion-dollar company and was completely miserable.
One of the most critical life lessons George has learned is that success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure in life. On the other side of success, it can feel lonely and empty. He’s also learned that his pain, suffering, trauma, loss and hardship have all been a purification and preparation process for personal heroism. Answers come from abstract places. Most of the times, those places are deep within you. George has been in the hole. But (with help), he found a way out.
